Oblivion dungeon-exploring music) Comanche (10:19 pm): (Brb) Reni (10:19 pm): (or not, I dunno XD) Reni (10:19 pm): (my brain is wierd when I'm sick) Tergonaut (10:20 pm): between Justin and Mar, there are enough rebreathers for all who need them; Reni is encased, currently, inside the OMNI-03 which is keeping her from panicking and sinking and drowning; so is HopeChao and Chuckles Kirby of the stars (10:20 pm): Has his snorkel mask so no drowning for Kirby! Talon (10:20 pm): Talon has no need for a rebreather - her suit has extensive enough life support to ensure survival in many environments. Underwater is one of them. Kirby of the stars (10:21 pm): (I never did understand why Kirby needs a snorkel mask) Arikyrenne (10:21 pm): accepted and thanked either Mar or Justin for a rebreathers, since she'd need one^^; Tergonaut (10:22 pm): ('cause it's cute and helps him from needing to inflate underwater, which would make him float and not be able to swim underwater @ snorkel mask?) Tergonaut (10:27 pm): So, we'll just have to find a way out underwater. SilverShadow (10:29 pm): Speaking of the pillars, there's something on top of one of them. It might be a hunched-over figure, sat with its back to them, grey-green material draped over the edge of the pillar. It doesn't really stick out, but at the same time it looks a tad out of place Tergonaut (10:30 pm): Mar: Do we have weapons that can work underwater? I can't throw my beamarang under water... Reni (10:34 pm): (ah ok) Talon (10:34 pm): My guns are good for only one shot underwater, and many of my grenades have different effects in water due to different physics. I do, however have my knife. Tergonaut (10:34 pm): (they are still floating on the water for convenience of communication, though the rebreathers do allow them to talk underwater) SilverShadow (10:34 pm): (Entered but haven't dived under it seems.) Reni (10:36 pm): (GAH smilie) Tergonaut (10:37 pm): (they were in the submerged tunnel a while ago, but it opened up to the underwater lake/cavern when they came up to the end of the tunnel, there was some land, and then they hopped off that into the water to avoid the rock that blocked the tunnel) Talon (10:37 pm): Watching that figure... SilverShadow (10:38 pm): With how still he'd been before, he could have been mistaken for a statue. The figure now stands though, and shakes out the cloak shrouding him. Dust falls from it... how long has he been sat there? Tergonaut (10:38 pm): Mar: reaches for his beamarang and whips it out, holding it up, its green glowing energy blade forming with a snap-hiss Tergonaut (10:38 pm): Mar: We aren't alone. All that's scannable is the cloak shrouding him, which seems to be fairly ordinary, except for some chaotic readings from it every so often Reni (10:42 pm): (So like...would all three of them have their own visor thingies?) Reni (10:44 pm): still not pleased around all the water, but snikers despite herself at that SilverShadow (10:44 pm): They may have a very vague recollection of him... he has an unfortunate side effect of fading from memory the longer you go after having last seen him Talon (10:44 pm): She frowns behind her visor, fingers tightening on the grenade generator. She doesn't like having her scans blocked. Tergonaut (10:45 pm): Mar: I think I've seen him before, myself...but it's hard to tell under a cloak like that. Comanche (11:10 pm): PRetty nice looking here actually staying alert for danger, having fished out a ceramic knife to hold in his hand while he swims SilverShadow (11:10 pm): (I'm imagining the Lost World 3 music from SA playing here) Talon (11:11 pm): remains quiet as she swims, taking in the surreal beauty of it all... Reni (11:11 pm): (XD YES) Tergonaut (11:11 pm): the glowing fish, bioluminescent, are more of a greenish color generally, though some are other colors as well Reni (11:11 pm): (perfect) Kirby of the stars (11:11 pm): Is amazed by the bountiful of fish in the waters, makes a note to fish here later >=) SilverShadow (11:11 pm): As a result the glowing blue orb looks perfectly normal among all this Arikyrenne (11:12 pm): (AH XD;@Kirby ) Reni (11:12 pm): (XD) Tergonaut (11:12 pm): the rippling water's surface casts light and shadow patterns across the smooth rock of the pillars, as well as the floor itself, pretty to look at, and a slightly disorienting effect that nearly makes surfaces look like they are moving even though they are perfectly still Talon (11:12 pm): (I'm imagining either Wrecked Frigate Orpheon (Metroid Prime), Deep Torvus (Metroid Prime 2), Mercury Lighthouse (Golden Sun) or Mount Kazai (Skies of Arcadia). ... Tergonaut (11:18 pm): an entrance that has some remaining stonework, though most of it has been washed away - it's similar to ancient temples like the Parthenon, with more of those same pillars and hieroglyphs, as well as an angled stone "roof" that juts out over the entrance, supported by pillars Reni (11:19 pm): (DEFINITELY reminded of ruins-dungeons in Oblivion) Tergonaut (11:20 pm): the entrance itself is entirely submerged, and it looks like it goes a lot further in to another area, with more pillars past the square open doorway Reni (11:21 pm): (nothing like evading traps in a ruins-themed dungeon...) This ruin, likewise, may have you wandering in circles if you rush in unprepared. Reni (11:55 pm): ....i hate mazes. --.-- Talon (11:55 pm): A maze, present in several related mythologies, inescapable, and housing a monster.
